Two years after Shiloh was born, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were once again blessed with two beautiful children, the twins Vivienne and Knox. The Jolie-Pitt family now has six children, three of them were adopted from three different countries and the other three children were biologically Jolie’s and Pitt’s.

The Birth of the Twins

The rumors that Angelina Jolie was pregnant yet again with twins made headlines all over the world, especially since she already has three adopted children and a daughter with Brad Pitt. But the rumor was proven to be true when one of her costars from Kung Fu Panda let the cat out of the bag that, indeed, Jolie was pregnant with twins. Another costar also told the press of Jolie’s expected due date, which he revealed as August 19.

The twins though were delivered on the 12th of July through Cesarean Section. The hospital where the birth took place was Lenval Hospital in Nice, France. The eldest of the twins was Knox Leon, male, and a minute later, the female twin was delivered, named Vivienne Marcheline. Marcheline was the name of Jolie’s deceased mother, and Knox was her grandfather’s family name.

On one interview, Pitt laughingly said that Vivienne is becoming more and more like her mom in many ways as he sees Jolie’s spirit and attitude in Vivienne. On the other hand, Knox is more like the father, he says, especially when it comes to music.

Blissful Family of Eight

We all know that twins can bring twice the fun and joy into families, but it also means twice the trouble, and this was also true to the Jolie-Pitt clan wherein the couple was quoted to say that Vivienne and Knox brought them a "wonderful chaos."

The birth of the twins brought more laughter and love into the family of the Jolie-Pitt clan, with the four older siblings helping out in taking care of Knox and Vivienne. The girls have even taken on the role of “mommies” as they help their parents with diaper changes and nanny duties.

Nowadays, a simple outing with the whole family has become a half-hour feat of getting all the children seated and buckled inside the car, but before Pitt starts the car, the couple also has to make sure that each child has his or her own favorite snack.

But amidst all these "wonderful chaos" and changes that the twins brought into the Jolie-Pitt clan, we can see how much joy and love they all have for each other.
